Ideogram 4.5 is the ChatImg model for readable text in a new image, and for changing one named part of a photo you already have. It is not the page that compares ChatImg against Ideogram as a substitute.

Two jobs, one model in the picker
No reference image means a new picture. A photo you upload means an edit that puts the untouched pixels back. You pick Ideogram 4.5 yourself. ChatImg does not silently swap it for another model.

Ideogram's long-standing job is lettering inside the image: sale lines, wordmarks, menu boards. Write the exact words in the prompt, including the line breaks you want.
Precise edit on a photo you already have

What it costs, in credits you can count
One image is 35 credits. The price does not go up when you ask for a larger size. The 20-credit new-account trial cannot spend on this model — the trial stops at models that cost 15 credits or less.
